Queensland Rugby League 

18th man: Simon 

Queensland Rugby League wanted to create a campaign leading up to the 2016 State of Origin series and profile fans, discovering what their favourite State of Origin moment is and what the game means to them.

Simon, an electrician, was privileged with installing the new variable colour LED lights that light up Brisbane's most iconic bridge; the Story Bridge. Every year, during Origin, the bridge displays the Maroons colours in support of the game. A rugby league fan through and through, Simon considered the job an honour and felt in a small way, it was his way of giving back to the game.
